Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Gris from Navarro opens with fragrant lemon, wet stone and light beer bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, round and smooth in the mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild Anjou pear and gentle mineral blend. I also detected a hint of green apple and a bit of pilsner beer. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This is a very versatile and food friendly wine. It will pair well with any fish. I would pair it with a grilled grouper with lemon butter sauce. Enjoy – Ken
