Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with fragrant pomegranate and craisin like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, delicate, and easygoing. The flavor profile is a a gentle cranberry and craisin blend with notes of minerality. I also detected hints of plum and oak. The finish is dry and is flavors linger nicely. This Pinot is on the mild side. It would pair with light dishes. I would pair it with Emeril's roast pheasant with savory wild mushroom bread pudding. Enjoy - Ken
