Wine Review: This dark red blend opens with a pleasant mild cherry vanilla bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a blend of red currant and red cherry with a hint of oak, cola, and blueberry in the background. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors are slight prolonged. This is a very nice everyday red that is well priced. Serve it with meat lasagna or other Italian dishes. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our new California Red Wine is a blend of Syrah, Merlot, Petit Sirah, and Zinfandel. This is a wine that is food friendly and fruit forward. It's chock full of flavors of black cherry and raspberry, vanilla and toast, and has a nice long finish that invites another glass. Our Homefront Red is not only the perfect wine for your own homefront, it's also the perfect wine to share with friends – and hey, it's not just a good wine, it's for a good cause!. Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.
