Wine Review: This ruby colored Tempranillo opens with a clay pot, dried coconut flake, and fig bouquet with a hint of cigar box. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a black cherry and a mild dried coconut blend with notes of slightly tart red plum and dill. I also detected hints of cedar and tea. The finish is dry, and its mild tannins are friendly. I would pair this Tempranillo with your favorite carnitas burrito. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Red ruby color with a distinctive brick rim. Deep and intense nose, showing vanilla notes, coffee, spices, and ripe red fruit. Dry leaves, leather and nutty notes are from the bottles aging period. On the palate, the wine is balanced and silky. Exceptionally pleasant, this wine has a persistent yet elegant aftertaste. Its complex and intense personality will make it evolve in a very positive way over the next years. Ideal with all types of roasted meats, game stews, charcuterie, smoked cheeses and with dark chocolate desserts.
