Wine Review: This straw colored Pinot Gris from New Zealand is very nice. It opens with a pear and honey bouquet with a hint of peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with notes of ginger and green tea. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Pinot Gris would pair nicely linguini with clam and herbed broth. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Pale gold with a slight green hue. Aroma: Lifted notes pear and apricot, supported by underlying spice and delicate floral notes. Tasting Notes: A smooth-textured wine with fresh and opulent stone fruit flavors that build on the palate. Fresh and mineral - reminiscent of a summer fruit picnic whilst sitting by a cool mountain stream. Offers texture, balance and depth. Aging: Enjoy now and over the next 3-4 years. Food Match: A perfect complement to spicy foods such as Thai green curry or Cajun chicken.
