Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from New Zealand opens Godiva raspberry chocolate cordial bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very approachable with no hard edges. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and red plum blend with notes of nicely integrated faint minerality. I also detected hints of black pepper and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle acidity nicely drift away. This Pinot Noir is a crowd pleasing good value. I also found it to be food friendly. I would pair it with fig and blue cheese-stuffed pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
