Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington state opens with a pomegranate and craisin bouquet with notes of new leather and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, lush, and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is black currant and cedar blend with notes of black cherry and stony minerality. I also detect hints of black tea, mint jelly, and blueberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and moderate dusty tannins are nicely extended. I would pair this Cab with a homemade meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Blackberry, black currant, plum puree with a hint of floral black tea. Swirling brings heavier black fruit; fig paste and a whiff of bloomed baking spices. The palate has great volume, present but sweet tannins and an energetic mixture of red and black fruit. The finish is fresh, with good lift and a lingering of raspberry ganache.
