Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Brave opens with an attractive black cherry, black raspberry and dark chocolate bouquet. We also picked up a hint of green pepper as well. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and juicy with plus acidity. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black cherry with notes of oak. We also detected hints of baking spices. The finish features dry tannins and its flavors are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with a venison steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The Cabernet Sauvignon harvested from this vintage is a fantastic example of a Bordeaux style blend hitting all the right notes. Seamless with black and blue fruits, great floral notes, structural silky tannins working in harmony for a long, balanced finish.
