Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet from Mt. Veeder opens with a mild black currant and blackberry bouquet with hints of toasty vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, refined and super smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle mineral infused and mild black currant blend with a hint of black cherry and oak. The finish is dry and its fine tannins drift away nicely. The panel suggested pairing this impressive Cabernet with a filet mignon or a pork roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Mt. Brave's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon has a full and rich texture that mingles with the aromas of violets and flavors of raspberries, blueberries and a touch of vanilla. Combined with mountain tannins that are massaged into an approachable, mouth-filling crescendo, the finish culminates with notes of mountain shale.
