Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black plum and boysenberry bouquet with hints of blackberry, forest floor, and lilacs. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and smooth with rounded edges. The flavor profile is flavor profile is a stony minerality an spiced black plum with notes of cherry. We also detected hints of oak, oolong tea, and blueberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with juicy Great Hill blue-cheese burger or with braised short ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
