Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a fragrant black raspberry and boysenberry bouquet with notes with stewed plum and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, and the fruit is rich. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry and blackberry blend with notes of black licorice. I also detected hints of cardamom, prune, and fig towards the end. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This Rich Zin is ready to go. I would pair it with dry rubbed ribs in the near term. Enjoy - Ken
