Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Zinfandel opens with a pleasant boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and has lots of extracted fruit. Those fruit flavors are a tasty blend of ripe blackberry with notes black olive and licorice. I also detected hints of minerality, vanilla and boysenberry. It closes with its fruit flavors drifting away nicely. This Zin very enjoyable on its own. If you need to pair with food, try it with Kerrygold Dubliner cheese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Full-bodied with a spicy frame, this Zinfandel boasts rich aromatics and explosive dark fruit notes. Ripe black raspberry, blueberry, cedar and earth are balanced and seamlessly interwoven throughout the mid-palate. The wine’s intense concentration sits atop well-tamed tannins and is accentuated by generous acidity.
