Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Morisoli opens with a black currant and toasted coconut flakes bouquet with hints of cola and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, silky, and refined. The flavor profile is menthol and black currant blend with notes of cinnamon tea. We also detected hints of crushed stone, oak, and a touch of toasted coconut. The finish is dry and its flavors and well-managed tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair the Cab with a filet mignon or even on its own. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: French oak barrels assisted in making this a rich and complex wine. Intense aromas and flavors of black cherry, cassis, dried herbs, and mocha are integrated into an exceptionally expressive bouquet. Our winemaker Joel Aiken calls it a classic Rutherford Bench Cabernet Sauvignon that will age beautifully for decades.
