Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby Cabernet from the Oak Knoll district is Excellent! It opens with a fragrant and attractive black cherry bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, extremely well balanced, smooth and elegant. The flavor profile is a delicious black cherry with notes of nicely integrated old oak. I also detected hints of black pepper, blueberry and plum. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and wonderful fruit flavors last for a long time after the wine is gone. This Cab is a steal and would pair perfectly with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
