Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Albarino from Rias Baixas, Spain opens with a mild lime bouquet with a hint of wet stone and pilsner beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, crisp, and zesty. The flavor profile is a mineral infused lime with a touch of lemon in the background. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. Its mineral notes linger for a little while after it's gone. This wine would be quite a nice option to be served chilled on a beach. The other option is to pair it with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense and elegant with tropical fruit and kiwi complementing granitic minerality. Made from free-run juice, a well structured, dry Albarino with a long finish.
