Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Moret Brealynn opens with a teaberry, earthy loam, and cinnamon bouquet with hints of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is black plum, toasted coconut and milk chocolate blend with hints of blueberry, herbal tea, and red cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with beef carpaccio. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is sourced from two cool growing microclimates in the Green Valley of Russian River Valley. This wine is made from three different Pinot Noir clones, aged for ten months in French Oak - 66% new, 34% used. This Pinot Noir coats the tongue with red fruits and opens up to chocolate and coffee notes. This wine still needs some time in the bottle so if you can't wait to enjoy it, please give it a one to two hour decant prior.
