Wine Review: This slightly opaque vary dark ruby colored Red Blend from Italy opens with a fragrant red currant and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, balanced, elegant, and silky. The flavor profile is red currant and oolong tea blend with notes of cedar and red plum. The finish is dry, and its moderate well-managed tannins stick around for a very long time. The Panel would pair this red blend with filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes:
Color: Dark ruby with touches of red velvet on the rim.
On The Nose: Complex and elegant to the nose with dark fruits like black cherries and blueberries and hints of white truffles evolving on black olive and dark chocolate.
On The Palate: Dense and silky entrance evolving on a beautifully fresh and layered mid palate with touches of cassis, plum, sundried tomatoes, eucalyptus and tobacco lingering on velvety tannins.
