Wine Review: This medium purple colored Syrah based wine opens with a black cherry and blackberry with hints of pipe tobacco and stewed plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and black licorice blend with notes of earthy minerality, cedar dried herbs and black plum. The finish is dry and its well-managed refined tannins are nicely extended. The Panel would pair this wine with a Tuscan porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Dark ruby with hints of purple and geranium on the rim.
On the Nose: Explosion of cherry, lavender and rosemary with touches of white pepper, lilac and hits blueberries.
On the Palate: Soft and fresh entrance evolving on velvety mouthfeel lingering on a backbone of acidity and raspberries, tomatoes lingering on cherries and tobacco.
