Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Super Tuscan opens with a pipe tobacco, cedar and red licorice bouquet with hints of red currant and spice. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. It has a nice bright mouthfeel and is quite savory. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced tart cherry with notes of crushed stone dust and red plum. We also detected hints of basil and oolong tea mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate well-managed dusty tannins are nicely extended. The Panel would pair this Super Tuscan with New York strip steak or with an antipasto platter. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep dark ink with touches of red velvet on the rim.
On the nose: Complex and integrated nose of fruits like blackcurrant, red cherry and blueberries with touches of black pepper, cedar that evolves on black olive and underbrush.
On the plate: Balance entrance with a silky mouthfeel lifted by a great acidity lingering on dark fruit like cassis evolving on a dense structure with chocolate, tobacco box and black cherry.
