Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored red blend opens with inviting black cherry and blueberry aroma with a hint of old oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and balanced. The flavor profile is a mild old oak infused ripe black raspberry jam with notes of black cherry, gentle black licorice and a touch of crasin. The finish is dry and its fine tannins fade away nicely. This wine is very food friendly and would pair very nicely with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: COLOR: Deep, dark and intense black with bright red and purple on the rim. ON THE NOSE: Concentrated aromas with spices like white pepper, sap, chocolate and cedar wood with hints of cherry, jasmine, tea leaves, black currant and cigar box. ON THE PALATE: Powerful, yet subtle entrance on a layered structure with a great backbone of acidity, lingering on cherry, cassis and dark chocolate with dense but ripe tannins, coated with blackberry jam.
