Wine Review: With a whimsical Cherub on the label, this clean and refreshing Syrah based Rose from Chile is a pretty medium salmon color, with aromas of spiced red raspberry, melon, orange blossom and wet slate. It has a round and silky mouthfeel on the palate, with crisp medium-plus acidity. The wine is dry, medium bodied, and has good balance. Flavors of tart red cherry, a little minerality, blood orange and crushed stone. The finish is tangy and moderate in length with a hint of watermelon. Pair with seafood paella. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Delicious fresh red fruit aromas such as raspberries, strawberries, and pomegranate predominate on the surprisingly intense nose, along with subtle notes of tropical fruit recalling pineapple and mango that lend a cheerful character, all rounded out with a delicate floral touch, resulting in a charming aromatic profile for our Cherub. The palate is smooth and medium bodied with refreshing acidity and a very pleasing lush and creamy finish.
