Wine Review: This Chilean Sauvignon Blanc is a light straw color with a green tinge. The very aromatic wine fills the nose with gooseberry, fresh cut green herbs, wet slate, yellow grapefruit, and pineapple notes. On the palate it is dry, medium-minus bodied, nicely textured, and refreshing. Although even with plus acidity it lacked vibrancy. There are flavors of grapefruit, passion fruit, grass, flint, and a hint of green apple. The finish is dry and grassy, and moderate in length. Served chilled, it would go well with garlicky grilled prawns. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Pale-yellow color, with green tones. The nose faithfully reflects the wine’s origin, with clear, impressive notes of white fruit and typical aromas of passion fruit and fresh pineapple. There are distinguishable notes of pyrazine and boxwood, together with elegant floral notes of orange blossom. The wine is piercing and vibrant on the palate, with a light body and long finish. Fresh flavors explode on the palate, with notes of yellow grapefruit, and great minerality.
