Wine Review: This is a nice weeknight red blend from Portugal. In the glass, it is a dark ruby color, with red currant, lilac, black olive and sandalwood in the bouquet. On the palate, it is soft and mouthwatering, with a medium body and medium acidity. It is nicely balanced and straight forward. I found flavors of spiced red plum, wild strawberry and mild minerality. There are round tannins in a moderate length finish. Open a bottle with your meat-lovers pizza. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: This ruby red wine has aromas of red fruit, combined with a touch of vanilla. On the palate, it shows structure, round ripe tannins and a long finish! Enjoy with red meat, cheese, or on its own.
