Wine Review: This scarlet colored Tempranillo from Rioja opens with a mild plum and pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with notes of red cherry and mild oak. I also detected hints of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. This wine would be a very nice glass pour option and I would pair it with a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Spice and leather complement the deep blackberry fruit and ferrous minerality of Rioja's red soils. Mouth-filling yet fresh, with the structure for improving in the bottle for a number of years
