Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Miner is a classic style vs. most of the fruit bomb 2013 Cabs. It opens with a black cherry and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a similar to the bouquet featuring very tasty black cherry and black currant with notes of integrated minerality and mild oak. I also detected hints of plum. The finish is dry and its moderate fine tannins are nicely extended. This terrific Cabernet would pair nicely with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: An impressively elegant wine from this rugged mountain top vineyard on the eastern slopes of Napa Valley. Bursting with black cherry and licorice flavors flanked by firm yet lush tannins; a wine as special as this undeniably unique vineyard.
