Wine Review: This midnight black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black licorice and black currant bouquet with hints of espresso and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused black currant with hints of black cherry. The finish is rather dry and its big dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. I would decant this Cab for 30 + minutes and serve it with a juicy Angus burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark purple in color with a complex nose of spice, cassis, blackberry pie, and toast. The wine starts big and sweet on the palette with flavors of ripe plum, coco, and anise, all interwoven with a lush, yet substantial structure. Pair with a marinated hanger steak or charcuterie plates.
