Wine Review: This pale coral colored Brut Rose opens with some nicely streaming tiny bubbles. The bouquet features strawberry and biscotti. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and fruit forward with little bubble presence. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral and red raspberry blend with notes of watermelon. I also detected hints of Maraschino cherry and hazelnut. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. I would pair this Brut Rose with Rick’s chilled shrimp cocktail. Enjoy – Ken & Joe
Winemaker Notes: The debut Migration Brut Rosé brings together Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier to create a dazzling sparkling wine with enticing aromas of strawberry and orange zest. On the palate, a juicy texture and lush flavors of stone fruit and citrus mingle with hints of sugar cookies as the wine builds to a bright, fruitful and effervescent finish.
