Wine Review: This rich Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast is a brilliant medium gold color, with aromas of McIntosh apple, beeswax, nectarine, spicy ginger, chalk dust and fresh oak. On the palate it has a silky and supple mouthfeel It is well balanced, layered, and poised, with a medium-plus body and medium acidity. The flavors include honeycrisp apple, ginger, gentle minerality and managed toasted oak, I also found hints of lime, vanilla, peach pie, and earth. The finish is crisp and lingers for quite a while. Serve along with Dungeness crab boil with Chardonnay drawn butter. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: Beautifully poised and shimmering with racy acidity, this enticing Chardonnay draws you in with aromas evocative of honeycomb, Fuji apple, nectarine, and sweet citrus. On the palate it is impeccably balanced, with a lush, supple texture that frames the bright citrus and custard flavors as they glide to a silky and energetic finish.
