Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Migration opens with a brambly black raspberry and black cherry bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a red plum and cherry-cola blend with notes of oak, pomegranate, and loam. I also detected hints of cinnamon and red raspberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with crispy pork carnitas. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine opens with vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, followed by subtle savory hints of forest floor and dried herbs. On the palate it is silky and elegant, with finely integrated tannins and balanced acidity framing the rich fruit flavors as they glide to a lush, well-rounded finish.
