Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Pinot Noir from Migration opens with a fragrant red raspberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of wild strawberry, oak, and potting soil. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied, slightly acidic, and juicy. The flavor profile is a tart cranberry, red plum, and oak blend with notes of chalky minerality and cola. I also detected hints of red licorice and cinnamon mixed in. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. I would pair this Pinot with a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Capturing the cool-climate essence of California's famed Sonoma Coast this wine offers lovely tension and texture, with layers of rich, dark berry fruit. On the palate, generous flavors of blackberry and cassis mingle with hints of forest floor, cedar and spice that glide to a silky finish with just a hint of savoriness.
