Wine Review: This deep gold colored Chardonnay from Migration is very good. It opens with a golden delicious apple, pineapple, and mango bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and creamy. The flavor profile is a pineapple and oak blend with notes of golden delicious apple and mango. I also detected hints of ripe Bartlett pear and caramel in the aftertaste. The flavors drift away on a long finish. This Chard is very enjoyable on its own if you like this rich style. With food, I would pair this Chard with lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The windswept vine rows of the famed Charles Heintz Vineyard have yielded a rich and luxurious Chardonnay, with an inviting structure and beautiful white flower and tropical fruit aromas. The tropical notes are echoed on the lush, silky palate, with seamlessly integrated French oak adding nuance and depth to a dramatic finish.
