Wine Review: This light-yellow colored Chardonnay from Migration is very good. It opens with a light lemon and gentle oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and gentle. The flavors profile is a very tasty light oak influenced Bosc pear with hints of pineapple and cream soda. The finish is dry and its pleasant acidity and tasty flavors linger and last for a very long time. I would pair this very food friendly Chard with Lucia’s butternut squash ravioli with a fresh sage and creamy parmesan cheese sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Both luscious and graceful, this wine reveals enticing aromas of honey, apple and pear. The orchard fruit is echoed on the palate, where it mingles with seamlessly integrated French oak that adds hints of vanilla and baking spice to a bright, lingering finish.
