Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay from Migration opens with an Anjou pear bouquet with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a tasty oak influenced Anjou pear with notes of gentle minerality and lemon. We also detected some hints of honey and cashew mixed in. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. The Panel thought his very good Chardonnay was versatile and food friendly. We would pair it with roasted chicken or white pizza. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Vivid and alluring, this lovely wine begins with aromas of citrus, white flowers, Honeycrisp apple and pear, as well as hints of vanilla from aging in French oak. On the palate, Dierberg's signature racy acidity adds poise and definition, framing the citrus and orchard fruit flavors, and carrying the wine to a long, refreshing finish.
