Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Russian River opens with an attractive strawberry and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, friendly and very approachable. The flavor profile is a gentle strawberry with hints of plum, spice and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Pinot is quite food friendly and would pair well with grilled salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Savory and complex with enticing fruit aromatics, this wine captures the essence of Russian River Valley Pinot. Sophisticated aromas of bacon fat, baking spice and forest floor add nuance to intense layers of blackberry, cherry and preserved strawberry. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine has a lovely tannin structure with refreshing acidity that supports the fruit and draws the wine to a long and satisfying close.
