Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Migration is light yellow colored. It opens with a light lemon custard and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and displays very nice balance between its acidity and fruit The flavor profile is a mild pear with nicely integrated gentle oak. I also detected a hint of custard and lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Chard is quite food friendly and would pair well with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The aromas of this wine are vibrant and complex, offering layers of citrus blossom, pear, honeysuckle, pie crust and creme brulee, as well as hints of fennel seed, sea spray and wet stone. On the palate, focused acidity adds poise and dimension, underscoring the lovely fruit and plush mouthfeel, all while drawing this wine to a long, lingering finish.
