Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a mild tangerine bouquet with hints of pineapple and banana. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced, and crisp. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with a hint of gentle oak and pineapple. The finish is dry and subtle. The panel suggested that this Chard would pair well with fettuccine, chopped, proscuitto, and peas smothered in an alfredo sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Heintz's older Chardonnay vines have yielded a wine that expresses everything we like about this vineyard—in particular, its distinctive balance between a rich, creamy texture and potent acidity. The aromas echo this contrast with bright, lifted citrus notes underscored by layers of caramel, apple pie, pear and baking spices. On the palate this Chardonnay displays beautiful weight and intensity framed by notable acidity.
