Wine Review: This straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Merryvale is very good. It opens with a fragrant gooseberry and yellow grapefruit bouquet with a hint of lime and peach pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild grapefruit with nicely integrated minerality and nectarine. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with grilled swordfish with a citrus salsa. Enjoy - Ken
