Wine Review: This ruby colored wine opens with a fragrant cherry and cola bouquet with a hint of boysenberry and spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, a tad acidic and displays lots of juicy fruit. The flavor profile is a pleasant blend of mild red currant and gentle red raspberry with a hint of pomegranate and mild oak. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are very friendly and elegant. I would pair this wine with grilled mahi mahi. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark ruby red with some violet notes, medium density. Aromas are fresh dark red cherry, wild strawberry, black tea, cardamom, fresh earth, floral notes, and toasted marshmallow. The entry is bright and focused leading to a round, generous mid-palate with moderately bright acidity, notes of cherry, cranberry, and a finish of lingering toasty oak.
