Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with a fragrant black raspberry bouquet with notes black cherry and spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, fruit forward and easy going. The flavor profile is a juicy black currant with notes of mild old oak, black cherry, and gentle minerality in the background. The finish is dry and its rather dusty oak tannins stick around for a while after the wine is gone. This wine would be very nice with homemade meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: dark red with good density Aroma: sweet red and black currants, brambly blackberry jam, black olive, dried herbs and violets Taste: soft entry, round with medium weight, toasty oak notes, and very good length
