Wine Review: This wine was the winner of our High End Red blind tasting. It Rocks! It is opaque and onyx colored and opens with a mild blackberry bouquet with a hint of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, perfectly balanced and super smooth. The flavor profile is an absolutely delicious black cherry and mild black raspberry blend. The finish is dry, elegant, and its fine tannins are lengthy and drift away nicely. This bottle will not last long and it didn’t. The panel suggested pairing this wine with a filet mignon at your favorite steakhouse. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our 2008 Profile shows opulent aromas of blackberry, cassis, sweet mixed berries, perfume and black tea along with vanilla, baking spices and toasty oak. The texture is broad and mouth-filling with mature tannins and exceptional length.
