Wine Review: This opaque and very dark black cherry red colored Merlot opens with a craisin bouquet with a hint of black currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and rather smooth. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused blueberry with hints of tart black cherry. The finish is dry and its dusty oak tannins linger, along with its fruit flavors for a little bit of time. This food friendly Merlot would pair well with Kobe sliders. Enjoy - Ken
