Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot opens with a mild red raspberry bouquet with a hint of mild oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is an approachable plum with a touch of mild oak in the background. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins show moderate length. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Pinot Noir is bright ruby in color, and shows notes of sweet black cherry, tart red cherry, strawberry, cranberry, smoke, toast and a hint of vanilla and clove on the nose. Silky tannins and a rich mouthfeel are balanced with crisp acidity and toasty oak for a long finish. The wine will improve for several years, and pairs well with roast salmon and any dish featuring wild mushrooms.
