Wine Review: The opaque and dark purple colored Cab based blend opens with a ripe blackberry bouquet with a hint of smoky oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, and displays a very lush mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a spicy blackberry and oak blend. We also detected some rich dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are nicely extended. The panel suggested pairing this wine with a well marbled ribeye. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Plush aromas of cassis, black cherry, perfume and vanilla are interwoven with tobacco, cedar and cocoa. On the palate the wine is dense and concentrated with a finish that is long and complex. This wine will age well for a decade and beyond. We recommend decanting in its youth.
