Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Merry Edwards opens with a red raspberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of cinnamon and graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, dense and fresh. The flavor profile is a dried strawberry and stewed black plum blend with notes of loam, black tea, and rhubarb. We also detected some hints of spice, cedar, and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with a grilled pork tenderloin or with a tuna crudo. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This classically elegant Russian River Pinot Noir hits the mark each vintage, and the 2021 bottling will not disappoint you! It is classic Olivet Lane, with aromas of cherries, violets, and fresh strawberries along with subtle earthy notes of forest floor and mushroom. The entry is round and lush, balanced on the palate ― overall a well-structured wine supported by oak. A dusting of pretty brown spice and a hint of cream soda linger on the finish. Given some time in the bottle, this elegant and engaging wine will continue to develop for years to come. Pait with porcini risotto.
