Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a white peach, honeydew melon and kumquat bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a very tasty honeydew melon and ginger blend with notes of orange rind and key lime. We also detected hints of Orton Bros. double vanilla cookie buttons in the background. The finish is dry and flavors drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with pan-fried rainbow trout, pan-seared scallops, or with Thai (Panang chicken curry). Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Abundant aromas of tropical fruit leap from the glass, white pineapple, ripe passionfruit, mango and guava, and a hint of banana cream pie. The palate is round and open, with accents of ruby red grapefruit, honeysuckle and melon married with a burst of crisp, refreshing acidity.
