Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Merry Edwards opens up with a cherry-cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral and strawberry blend with hints of tea and red currant. The finish is dry and its moderate sticky tannins have nice length. This Pinot will pair well with Colorado lamb chops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: At the outset, this vibrant and effusive Pinot shows off an intense, bountiful aroma packed with cherry cordial, blueberries, crushed violets, red roses and raspberries. Savory notes join the party with fresh mushroom, cured meats, black licorice and dark cocoa. There is also some creamy chocolate and seamless integrated sweet French oak. Bold tannins persist well into a long finish. Pair with Ossobuco Milanese.
