Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a ripe black cherry bouquet with a hint of currant, smoke, and rhubarb. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, robust and studier than most Pinot's. The flavor profile is a ripe plum and oak blend with notes of minerality. We also detected a hint of dark chocolate and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The panel fell this was a Cab drinkers Pinot. They suggested pairing it with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine's opening salvo is a mouthwatering, concentrated fragrance of black cherry with an attractive smoky, toasty edge. With gentle aeration, deep layers of rich, dark fruit continue to unfold in the form of ripe blueberries, lingonberries and black raspberries accented with mocha, licorice and freshly ground espresso. In the mouth, this luscious Pinot is plush with velvety tannins creating a nonstop finish of excellent length.
