Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Pinot opens with a plum bouquet with hints of blueberry and pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. It is very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a very tasty black plum and red currant blend with a hint of gentle old oak and black pepper. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are gentle and easy going. This Pinot would pair well with grilled cherry amaretto chicken. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: From the outset, this Pinot captivates with its jewel-like quality. The aroma has many facets ― dark cherry, rich plum and chocolate. As you swirl it in your glass, the complexity unfolds and expands, manifesting accents of licorice, vanilla bean and spicy oak. An enticing, succulent entry on the palate opens with masses of ripe fruit and a hint of earthiness, while firm, tarry tannins fill the extended finish. This wine will surprise you with its age-worthiness!
