Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Merriam opens with a gentle white grapefruit and nectarine bouquet with hints of light lemon, faint florals, and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright, fresh, and clean. The flavor profile is a gentle white grapefruit and saline blend with notes chalky minerality and lime zest. He also detected a hint of white peach. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc with very food friendly and versatile. We would pair it with linguini and clam sauce or with grilled swordfish kabobs. Enjoy – KWGTP
