Wine Review: This slightly opaque and medium purple colored red blend opens with a stewed black plum and boysenberry bouquet with hints of fig, spearmint, and bay leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and smooth. The flavor profile is black plum and mild graphite blend with notes of sage and black cherry. We also detected some hints of strawberry, mint, and red bell pepper in the mix. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Red Wine with a veal chop or with a garlicy grilled venison sausage. Enjoy – KWGTP
